During the first game, Tj Horsfall pitched an amazing first 5 innings before trading off. He managed to only let 2 points slip by. The men also managed to score 3 points allowing them to take the win. The rain was coming down hard so the game moved a little slowly because they kept having to dry the field.
The second game didn't go as well for our men, with a score of 8-2 in the end. The points were scored by Des Santos, who hit the ball every time he came up to bat.
The starting pitcher Jake Phillips seemed to be having an off day, letting the other team get a total of four points before switching out with Nick Wilkins. Wilkins let another 3 slip by before the coaches brought in Micky Lyons to finish the game out, Lyons let one point slip by as well.
Good plays were constantly made by Santos on second base and Isaac Kim on first. Together they were able to get several runners out before they had a chance to go further and score.
Pictures will be coming soon!
